Personal Statement:
Please call me Andy. I was born and raised in Steamboat Springs and it will always be home to me and my family. I feel very fortunate to be able to call it my home again after living and working in California for almost 15 years. Growing up in Steamboat I was closely involved in the construction industry. General contracting is the family business and the building industry has been a lifelong passion. That’s why I chose to study Architectural Engineering at the University of Colorado in Boulder. After graduating in 1998 I moved to California to broaden my personal and professional horizons. I was lucky enough to call the Bay Area my home for almost 15 years and it will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s where I gained my professional experience and it’s where I met my wife. In 2013, we made the decision to move to Colorado to pursue a life that balances work and free time in an area that we love, Steamboat Springs. Here in Steamboat we’re able to enjoy all the things that this place has to offer including hiking, skiing, fishing and any other outdoor activity that we can make time for with our loving dog.
